Intelligent Perception Co. is dedicated to innovation in the computer vision technology. Since 2005 our efforts have been centered on Pixcavator – a software platform entirely based on our own research. The technology is protected by a pending patent. 

Intelligent Perception was founded by Peter Saveliev, professor of mathematics at Marshall University, Huntington WV. He developed the mathematical methods that formed the foundtion of Pixcavator. Dr. Saveliev conducted research on algebraic topology and a number of other fields. Prior to a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, he worked as an applied mathematician and software engineer at a large R&D institute in Moscow, Russia. His duties included developing image matching algorithms for missile guidance systems. After that he worked at a start-up company focused on automated fingerprint identification.
