I received this from a professor of life sciences: "a photograph of many blood vessels. I wanted to count all the blood vessels present therein using Pixcavator."

I analyzed the image and what you see is best we can do with Pixcavator 3.1. The reason that some of the vessels aren't captured is that in version 3.1 there are some limitations on how small or how large objects can be to be captured. To do a better job with images like these, I had to relax these restrictions in version 3.2.
