I am a relative newcomer in the field; hence the name of the blog.

In this blog I want to discuss some issues of computer vision, digital image analysis, visual image search etc. It is my opinion that computer vision needs more thought on the low, fundamental, “dumb”, level. It needs more mathematics!

Some of the posts will be transformed into articles in our wiki: Computer Vision Primer, or vice versa.

I also want to communicate our most recent developments – software, site, etc – to the user community and receive quick feedback.
